JUICY GOSSIP...!

December 26th-30th: Winter Regional Convention in Orlando.  Did you have a fabulous time at Fall Kallah? Interested in seeing all your NFTY friends again? Then talk to Lesley about going to Winter Regional Convention! 

Temple Judea's youth groups have been on a roll lately!!! We just got two AWESOME new game tables in the teen lounge, come check them out during a Synaplex or Lounge Night! Our middle school youth group, JUiCY Jr, had their 2nd Annual Hanukkah Olympics and had an AMAZING time! Ask a 6th, 7th, or 8th grader to show you their homemade toga and they will be happy to do so!

Our high school youth group, JUiCY, had their Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser and it was a fantastic success! The food was delicious and funds were raised to help send some of our members to the NFTY National Convention in Washington, D.C. in February. Thank you to everyone who participated in the event, JUiCY appreciates your generosity!

Here is a look at the awesome programs for January!

        (9th-12th Grade Events)

January 4th:            JUiCY Brunch Meeting at FirstWatch DayCafe in Jupiter!
Start the new year off with a nosh! Meet at FirstWatch DayCafe on 6240 West Indiantown Road in Jupiter at 11:00 am!

January 16th:            January Synaplex - Come and celebrate MLK weekend with your fellow JUiCY Members!

Jan. 17th-18th:            NFTY Orlando Theme Park Trip to Islands of Adventure!
Come to Islands of Adventure with JUiCY and all of your NFTY friends! It's not a convention, I swear!
We will drive up on Saturday night and spend all day Sunday at the park!  Cost: $125 a person!
(Price includes hotel, transportation, food, and park fee)
Can't wait to see you there!

January 16th:            January Synaplex
Come and celebrate MLK weekend with your fellow JUiCY Jr. Members!

January 25th:            JTI Inflatable Fun Fair at the Kaplan JCC in West Palm Beach. Want to play with inflatable laser tag and giant slides?? Well this is the event for you!
There will be a bus leaving from Temple Judea at 1:30PM and will be returning at 5:30PM.

January 30th:            Hatikvah Kallah at Congregation Kol Ami Emanuel in Plantation. (For 7th & 8th  Graders only!)
Get ready for an entire sleepover weekend of fun and            awesomeness!  We will be spending the weekend
meeting youth groups from all over the state of FL and having an AMAZING time! Ask anyone who went
last year, it is SO MUCH FUN! Contact Lesley for more information.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS

Jewish overnight camp is one of the strongest experiences that can secure a child’s Jewish identity.  These programs can be expensive.  The Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, in cooperation with participating synagogues, provides scholarships for overnight camp.
