Family Life Education at Temple Judea is truly an opportunity for education and celebration. Throughout the year, we provide special classes, worship experiences and holiday celebrations which focus on the needs of young families with children at home. If you are just beginning your Jewish journey or ready to expand your knowledge, our Family Life Education program has something for you.
Judaism is not simply a faith but a way of life.
 
Here’s a sampling of what’s in store!

• Start the year with a "Back to School" Shabbat dinner and interactive story telling.
• Roll up your sleeves for Sukkah building and decorating.
• Stand under the stars with your handmade spice box for "Backyard Havdalah"
• Bring your pillow for a "Sh is for Shema Pajama Party" learning Shema as a bedtime prayer.
• Fill up a bag of ideas for "After the Candles", a Shabbat day.
• Meet Pharaoh and be a part of the exodus experience "Passage to Freedom"
• Learn what Torah says about the environment through our annual Tu B’Shevat Seder and Fair
• Get ready for Chanukah with "Beyond the Miracle of Oil," A Chanukah Story for Adults Only"
